Outer Limits Adventure Fitness offers a range of outdoor camp programs to schools, community organisations and youth groups that can be tailored to your budget and number of participants. Developed with years of experience, our team provides opportunities for groups to build essential teamworking skills and an appreciation for adventure activities.  The locations of our programs span across the Townsville region with locations in Paluma, Hidden Valley, Camp Gedling in Hervey’s Range and Townsville – Pallarenda, The Strand and Riverway.

What do they involve?

All-Inclusive

Our Outdoor Camp programs can be inclusive of food, accommodation, safety/ risk assessments, detailed itineraries and, of course, our professional Outer Limits Guides.

Full Flexibility

Offering full flexibility for your group’s requirements, we offer multiple activities suited to your budget, students’ age and number of participants.

Managed Ratios of Students per Guide

Finally, limiting the stress for teachers, we ensure there is a maximum number of students per guide to ensure we can offer our full support to both the students and teachers throughout the camp.

Cape Pallarenda

Pallarenda is great location, close to town and offers the opportunity for a range of activities.

The Strand

An iconic location in Townsville, ideal for water sports activities and smaller groups.

Riverway

The Riverway Precinct is a great option for bigger groups wanting a rotation of different activities. The venue offers the opportunity for a number of water based activities as well as land based activities. The river is a great option for the warmer months as it does not require stinger suits. It is also suited for younger and/or less experienced groups as the river is often more protected from weather elements.

Paluma – Adventure Centre

At the Outer Limits Adventure Centre we offer overnight camps as well as day activities. Groups who visit Paluma for overnight camps can book accommodation either at Gumburu Environmental Education Centre or Paluma Environmental Education Centre (depending on availability). Smaller groups have the option to camp in tents at the Adventure Centre.

At the Adventure Centre we specialise in 4day/3night journey-based camps.

Paluma Dam

We often utilise the Paluma Dam in combination with activities based at the Adventure Centre. A great option especially in the warmer months to escape the heat.

Herveys Range – Camp Gedling

Camp Gedling is just outside of Townsville situated on Hervey’s Range, which offers slightly cooler climates. It is a great overnight location especially for younger groups. The camp offers basic facilities and great activity options.

Hidden Valley

The Hidden Valley camp location is situated on private property, a working cattle station. It is an outback experience best suited for bigger groups and overnight camps. The activities showcase the beautiful country we live in and provides rewarding challenges to the participants.
