Get ready for the South 32 DnD Outback Adventure Run, presented by Outer Limits Adventure Fitness, making its thrilling return to the Julia Creek Dirt n Dust Festival in 2025. Curious about the dirtiest outback run? This wild course promises outback-style obstacles that will have you smiling all the way to the finish line. We call them challenge by choice, so you can decide to climb, hop, jump, crawl, or run around them, but we encourage everyone to give them a go. The 2025 festival brings exciting upgrades, including a revamped Dusty Kids event now scheduled for Friday afternoon with three age groups for our young adventurers: 5-6 years, 7-8 years, and 9-10 years. Additionally, the 5km Fun Run has been upgraded to a timed competition with new age groups across all events, meaning more chances to win prizes without needing to beat the top three. Choose your distance wisely; the Dusty Kids event is perfect for children aged 5-10 tackling the 1km course, while the 5km run suits kids aged 11-13, youth aged 14-17, and adult beginners aged 18 and up, who might feel a bit dusty from the previous night. The 10km and 15km courses are strictly for adults aged 18 and older and are competitive timed events for serious runners, with an average completion time of around 45 minutes per 5km lap. All races kick off from the Kev Bannah Oval at the Julia Creek Combined Sporting Assoc Building, located at the corner of Julia and Shaw Streets. Register now and join the adventure!
