Multi-Sport Enduro 2016

Due to the low number of entries Sunday’s Multi Sport Enduro has been cancelled.
On Sunday, October 9th, individuals or teams can tackle a multi-sport enduro course at Cape Pallarenda. There will be running, ocean paddling, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding and swimming.
The Event will be held at the end of the Quarantine Station inside Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park. (same spot as the trail run)
There is plenty of parking.

Individual entry: $30
Team entry (15 people): $400
You can enter as a team of 15 or as an individual and we will put you in teams on the day (5 teams). If you don’t want to do a particular leg, but have a friend who does, then bring them along (you only register as one person and they pretend to be you for that 1 or 2 legs). You can NOT relay laps you can only sub in for a full leg of 20 minutes.
We provide all equipment or you can bring your own.
The event course looks like a 5 leaf clover with the 5 disciplines going around a set course for 20 minutes at a time and always coming back through event HQ (or close to it). You must complete as many laps as you can in the 20 minutes before your team moves on to the next leg. There are short breaks between each leg. This allows time to set up bikes and kayaks.
Run: the run course involves obstacles, beach stairs and road. It’s 400-500 metres in length but will be challenging.
Bike: the bike course is a small loop inside “The Grave Yard”-trail. It’s a bit tricky in spots but beginners to experienced riders will enjoy it.
SUP: the SUP leg is a 100 metre up and down course not far from the beach. The key is to turn the SUP’s fast! Oh and stand up on them…
Kayak: the kayak course is a 500 metre triangle of the beach with the nearest marker being 50 metres from the shore.
Swim: the swim leg is to swim 20 metres out and around a buoy, back in and run 10 metres up the beach. Swim and run as many laps as you can!
At the end of the event we will add up how many laps your team completed and the team with the most amount of laps wins. We also award the top 3 male and female individuals.
Cold drink, fruit and refreshments will be provided.
It’s a great atmosphere with everyone going around in circles so please bring family and friends along.
