$399

Escape the hustle and bustle of town and join us for a Spring Retreat at the Hidden Valley Cabins.

The multi-award winning eco-resort is nestled in the outback, one and a half hours north-west of Townsville. The resort is fully self sufficient and has a great emphasis on preserving the magnificent environment it is located in. Only a short drive away from town, a great outback retreat awaits you.

Relax, unwind and reconnect with yourself and others.

Itinerary

Starting on Friday late afternoon, we meet and greet with the group at the cabins before heading out on a Platypus Tour. Followed by a two course dinner, which will be served at 7pm.

The Saturday starts with morning yoga, a gentle vinyasa flow class led by Aline. The yoga is suited for all levels, beginners through to advanced. Yoga mats will be provided, please feel free to bring your own towel or blanket and maybe an eye pillow if you have one.

Breakfast is served at 8am. After that, we head out for a tour of the stunning local Running River Gorge. Not too many people know about this hidden gem. A morning tea picnic will be served in the gorge and there will be plenty of time to explore and go for a swim. We return back to the cabins for lunch at 1pm, followed by some time to relax and enjoy the surroundings of the Hidden Valley Cabins. In the afternoon we have a bike tour planned (3.30pm), that will take you through the stunning outback country. You can bring your own bike or take one of ours (If you would like to borrow one of our bikes, please indicate your height when you make your booking so we can bring the correct size bike for you). The bike ride is an optional activity. At 5pm we are going on a walk to a lookout, pack a beer or wine to enjoy while watching the sunset. Dinner will be served at 7pm and afterwards we can sit around the campfire.

On Sunday morning we start a little later with a 7.30am yoga class with Aline. Breakfast will be served at 8.30am and at 9.30am we are heading on a walk along Pine Creek or you can choose to go on a run to Running River if you have some extra energy to burn. There will be some free time (maybe go for another bike ride?) before lunch is served at 12pm and after that the weekend will be wrapped up and we check out at 1pm.

The bike ride and hikes are optional and you can choose to do as much or as little as you like.

Please note: Minimum 10 participants, maximum 16 participants. We reserve the right to cancel due to low numbers or weather conditions.
