Group Fitness Classes
Weekly schedule and special events
Do you enjoy working out with like minded and motivated people? If so, then come along to any of Outer Limits group fitness classes in Townsville. We offer trail running, mountain biking and ocean kayaking, as well as multi-sport sessions (run, ride, paddle) and fitness classes. We also have 3 “Yoga in the Park” classes to assist with your core strength, flexibility and posture. All of our classes are suited for any level of fitness and ability. We also offer one on one sessions to build your skills and confidence to join the group sessions.
Bring along a towel, water bottle and wear comfortable clothes. At our multi sport session your feet will get wet so wear appropriate foot wear.

Prices and Rates:
$20 per week for unlimited classes. Choose from any of the 10 group classes each week. Payment can be made weekly, fortnightly or monthly via direct deposit (see details below)
$15 per week for the Monday and Wednesday Fitness Classes
$10 per week for the 2 running session. If you are following the UTA guide these are the only 2 “coached” session. The others are social runs.

Note: If you have your own kayak or bike, the session is $10. Feel free to bring your own bike for Friday Multi Sport but we use our OL kayaks. Cost is always $15.
For those just wanting to do the Monday and Wednesday group fitness class a special of $15 is available, cash, credit card or weekly direct deposit is available.
There is also a special on Yoga classes – 10 classes for $100

Fitness Class: Our Monday and Wednesday morning fitness classes are a great way to start your day. Hard work both mentally and physically! We do our best to mix up the training, throw in a pool session, bike session or longer run session amongst the regular strength and cardio training. Weights, boxing, core strength and team games makes you work hard and enjoy your training. This session caters for all fitness levels.
Mountain bike group session: Our MTB session gives you a chance to get the MTB dirty during the week and improve your skills. A mix of trail and road, flat fast riding and strength training in the hills will see your MTB skills improve in no time. The session caters for most fitness levels, you must have some experience on the bike. You need an appropriate MTB or contact us to use one of ours. We can help with a private lesson if you need help to get started.
Trail Running: Our 2 running sessions are Wednesday 5.15pm and Thursday 5.30am. These sessions are focused around the UTA 50/100k. Everyone is welcome to join. Wednesday is a longer 8/10km run and Thursday is a tough hill or stair session.
Ocean paddling: The Tuesday and Thursday ocean paddling group sessions are a safe, fun and social way to improve your kayaking fitness and ability. The shelter of the Tobruk foreshore is great for beginners and we push the limits of strong paddlers past the rock wall, toward Kissing Point or around to Ross Creek. We provide the kayaks or you can bring your own. You must have some kayaking experience to join these sessions but we can help you get started with a private session and progress from there.
Multi-Sport: Our Multi-Sport is the session everyones favourite. A chance to play with all the toys (bikes, kayaks, runners) and sometime a swim or SUP board. No one gets left behind as we paddle, run and ride our way around the Ross River or Pallarenda. It’s great fun and hard work. What more could you want for a morning session? We provide the bikes and kayaks or you can bring your own bike. All fitness levels welcome but you need to have some experince on the bike and kayak.
Road Cycling: Outer Limits has a regular road cycling bunch ride. in 2017 the bunch ride will be Friday morning from Fat Dogz coffee in Cannon Park. There will be more rides as we get closer to the TCBR charity bike ride.
Yoga: Power Yoga is a vinyasa style class with a mindfulness philosophy. When you practice Yoga you can expect to improve your flexibility, strength & stamina. You can experience improvement in posture, mood improvement, reduction of stress levels, be well rested, sleep better and feel happy. Power Yoga is for everyone. Power coming from empowerment, meaning the power is handed over to you.
